Confederation
of Scotland's Elderly is a group that emerged from a meeting held in Glasgow in April 2000.
Representatives from Highland and Grampian in the north to Dumfries, Galloway and the Borders in the south, discussed the current set up of older people's representation.
It was agreed that the older people's movement as it existed, tended to be reactionary rather than proactive.
